Friday's venture

This past Friday we reconnected as district youth workers. Lots of new faces in our district and some that are missing which makes me sad. I always love these times as we sit together and fellowship but then just talk ministry together. You know, "What's happening in your ministry?, What's working for you?, What's not working for you?, How's the family doing?, etc." Not many districts do this, at least not to my knowledge, and this is what I think makes us such a close knit group. I care about the guys of our district and want them to succeed. One negative though, as much as I love pizza, I had WAYYYYYYY too much of it this week. I think I need to go somewhere that doesn't have pizza. Why is it as youth workers we always have pizza at our events? Kickoffs, meetings together, social times . . . I mean I know it's cheap but seriously, there has to be something else we can get other than pizza. Sheeessshhh. I think need to go to Pizzaholics anonymous. Maybe I'll see some of you there. Anyway, anyone else feel this way? Thoughts on a solution? Leave me a comment with some answers.

Seriously Tank, are you kidding? First you complain about pizza and then you let schmucks like Derry Prenkert post on your blog? Ask him about the time he saw Van Halen in Ft. Wayne with another schmuck named Gary A. (who was hopelessly drunk). They watched another drunk guy named Dave K. light farts. Anyway, post more pics of your daughter, she seems pretty cool.
