Read Galatians 5:16-17
Let's be honest, this passage describes the battle that we all face everyday of our life. No one is exempt from facing this battle. Knowing that this is something that we'll struggle with everyday gives us an advantage if you think about it. Think about it, when things happen that are unexpected we are unprepared at how to handle that situation. However, knowing that everyday we are going to have a struggle gives us an edge to prepare ourselves to tackle what comes our way.
How do we do that. I know these things sound cliche but . . . prayer, TAWG, reading the Bible, worship, listening to Him, obedience, etc. These are the things that Jesus tried to teach to His closest followers. These are still key for us.
How have you been doing lately with those things?
What do you find hardest to do?
Accountability with your Christian friends is another great way to prepare for battle. So you know that you have a hard time with TAWG and keeping it consistent. Get HELP!!! God doesn't intend for us to do life alone. Do it together. Meet before school. Talk on the phone about a passage with one another. Pray together, worship together . . . Follow Him TOGETHER!!!
Who is someone that could hold you accountable?
Ask them for their help this week?
Allow God to guide you and lead you together.
What's stopping you from doing this?

sorry bout not posting the last few days. Busy weekend!
Lately i have been getting into the word a lot and praying about resisting my temptations and staying clear of the devil. One thing i should do though is take a spiritual warfare class my mom was talking about, this summer.
One thing that is hardest for me to do is to really stand up to the devil and tell him No. I am growing though and getting better little by little though.
One person that could hold me accountable is my mom. I usually have time to talk to her when she takes me to breakfast or other times during the day because she is a stay at home mom and she is easy to talk to about spiritual things.
The major thing that is stopping me is fear and another biggie is my earthly desires to do what i want and not what God wants.

I get into my Bible every night & have a devo book that I read. I love worshipping Him but I so easily get distracted with other things on my mind, so I'd say that sometimes thats the hardest thing. But then other times it's getting really into the Word because I get so busy & find that I don't have alot of time to spare.
I have two awesome friends that help keep me accountable & that I also try to help. But I have another friend, one that I'd really love to grow closer to through Christ. I'd absolutely love to help them in their walk with Christ, but sometimes it feels like they don't want my help. I try to be understanding & patient, but it's difficult sometimes.
