Tonight we had our UPWARD Award Show. I was a little nervous at first not knowing what to expect. Man was it a lot of fun. From fog machines to light shows, basketball drills to jugglers, but most of all a room full of parents who came to see their kids be recognized for all their hard work this UPWARD basketball season. My pal Andy Mitschelen and I got to be hosts of the ESPN type award show. We tried to come up with some funny one liners for the highlight reel. It was all really TIGHT!!! It was a long day but well worth it not just for us but hopefully for the kids and their families. They all seemed to have a lot of fun. Now I get to hang with my lovely wife and mommy to be. I can't wait to turn in for the night which I'll be doing real, real soon.
