Movie Review

Rose and I haven't really gotten to see a new movie in quite some time. We subscribe to Netflix so we're behind the curve on many of the new movies that are out there. We finally got "The Happening" by M. Night Shyamalan.

We both had big hopes for this movie. We put the kids to bed and sat down to try to watch it together. Rose dozed in and out of sleep, not because of the movie but because she was pretty tired. I have to say that within 10 minutes you are just in shock at some of the events.

Overall though I'd have to say that Rose and I weren't super impressed. Rose thought that Mark Wahlberg needed to do a way better job at crying and making it look real. I personally didn't think the ending was all that impressive. You go from the beginning being fairly shocked to the end where it is all nice and pretty with the ending beginning things all over again. Some of you may disagree with me which is fine. We all have different tastes.

If I were going to give it a grade though I'd say: B -
